I recently had an interest in multi-tools. But I wasn’t look for an ordinary Leatherman. I was looking for something unique. And that’s when I stumbled upon the Columbia River Knife and Tool Zilla Jr. There is also a bigger Zilla version.

The Zilla Jr. got its name for looking like a little Godzilla type multi-tool. The Zilla Jr has a built in pliers that is built into the body instead of a butterfly type like most multi-tools. There is a release switch that opens it up.

The Zilla Jr. in my opinion is the perfect size, not too small or too big. The multi-tool is also very light and easy to carry with the included case. The tool is made of metal and a hard plastic and feels like it’s built to last.

With the pliers on one end the blade knife is on the other. The knife blade is 2.25 inches long and should be up to most tasks.

Finally on the blade end you will find a bit driver with two bits (one X and one straight).

Overall this is a great multi-tool that will do a good job with most projects. Its unique design and shape make it a one of a kind. And for the price it’s should be on everyone’s list to buy. This is a multi-tool I plan on carrying anywhere and everywhere.

9.6 out of 10
